My name is Carla. British-born, I moved to Koh Samui __ years ago, and have since carved a name for myself as one of the island’s premiere wester hairstylist and makeup artist. I work with many of the high-end hotels and resorts on the island, and have done the hair and makeup for more weddings than you can imagine! I absolutely love my job, making brides and their bridal party look stunning on their special day.
I work with a fantastic team of professional stylists, all of whom have their own training, and whom I’ve personally trained to ensure their work is always of the highest standard. Having my own team means that I can work with any size of wedding, from the smallest to the largest. Our aim is to keep in contact with the bride-to-be from the word go all the way until the wedding day itself, and ensure her look and style meets her every desire.
I do more than weddings, too. For the past __ years, I’ve worked on high-profile TV shows in Europe who often film on the island, like The Bachelor (aired in Germany and Switzerland). I am often asked to work on photoshoots with models for commercials or their own portfolios.

My team is a mix of highly experienced Thais and Westerners. Some specialise in make-up (including a Russian airbrush makeup specialist), whereas some focus on hair, and most are trained in both. Many of the experts on my team have trained and worked abroad, and quite a few work with me on a high-production Warner Brothers TV show filmed on-site here in Samui every year. I only work with people who are professional and reliable, and who are able to work to an extremely high standard, no matter the job. Everyone on my nine-person team uses products that are at the top of their range, including MAC and Bobbi Brown.
